Industrial Hemp

Our farm is located in the warm heart of Malawi, a natural paradise with optimal conditions for the sustainable cultivation of industrial hemp. We grow and cultivate non-psychoactive cannabis under natural sunlight, 365 days a year in modern and forward-thinking ecosystems.

We continously improve our farming strategies to obtain maximized yields and the highest quality of hemp fiber and hemp shives.

We develop cost-competitive biocomposites from fiber waste and renewable polymers. Biocomposites have the potential to replace petrol-based polymers in various applications and can be used as a resource for injection molding and thermoforming.

Additionally, we focus on additive manufacturing of spare parts and medical prostheses with FDM printing techniques. The FDM printing material we use is made from hemp biocomposites or other fiber waste resources.

From medical devices to aerospace to agriculture to automotive, you name your industry and we can provide a solution. Spaceafrica accompanies its partners through close collaboration from the initial idea through to development, implementation and production.
